What Is IELTS Academic?
IELTS Academic is the test most universities and visa offices ask for when you want to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level abroad. It tests your English in four skills:
- Listening — 30 minutes, 4 sections, 40 questions.
- Reading — 60 minutes, 3 long passages, 40 questions.
- Writing — 60 minutes — Task 1 (graph or chart) + Task 2 (essay).
- Speaking — 11–14 minutes face-to-face interview with a real IELTS examiner.
